1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website or submitting an event registration through it, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are registering a minor athlete, you confirm you are their parent or lawful guardian and agree to these terms on their behalf — see Information about minors in our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
Event registration is open to athletes meeting the age-group and taluka requirements published for each specific event. RDAA determines age-group eligibility from the date of birth submitted, calculated against the relevant event’s start date. Providing a false date of birth or other false information to gain an eligibility advantage may result in disqualification.
3. Accuracy of information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit — name, date of birth, gender, contact details, and event selections. RDAA relies on this information to place athletes in the correct category, contact applicants, and verify payment; RDAA is not responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate information supplied by an applicant.
4. Registration fees and payment
Where an event has a registration fee, it is shown on the /apply form before submission, and is payable by UPI to the QR code shown on the payment step. Submitting the registration form creates a pending application; it is only confirmed once an RDAA administrator manually verifies your payment.
See our Refund Policy for cancellations, duplicate payments, and failed transactions.
5. Event changes, postponement, or cancellation
RDAA may need to change an event’s date, venue, schedule, or format, or cancel an event, for reasons including weather, venue availability, safety, or matters beyond RDAA’s control. Where reasonably possible, RDAA will communicate such changes to registered applicants using the contact details provided at registration.
6. Participation in athletics events
Athletic competition carries an inherent risk of physical injury. By registering to participate, an athlete (or their parent/guardian, for a minor) acknowledges this risk. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Photos, videos, and results
RDAA may photograph or record participants at its events for publication in event results, reports, and promotional material relating to RDAA’s activities. Results (including participant names and placings) may be published publicly as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The RDAA name, logo, and website content (excluding third-party content such as licensed stock photography) belong to RDAA or its licensors. You may not use RDAA’s name or logo to imply endorsement, or reproduce website content for commercial purposes, without RDAA’s prior written permission.
9. Permitted and prohibited use
Use of this website is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Website availability and third-party services
We aim to keep this website available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and information (including event schedules and results) may change without notice — see our Disclaimer. This site links to and relies on third-party services (payment apps you use to pay, our hosting/email/security providers listed in our Privacy Policy) that RDAA does not control.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RDAA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this website or participation in an RDAA event. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and its e-commerce rules, where applicable.
12. Suspension and disqualification
RDAA may refuse, suspend, or cancel a registration, or disqualify a participant, for breach of these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, event-specific rules, or applicable sporting regulations.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts at Ratnagiri, Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms, without prejudice to any statutory right you may have to bring proceedings elsewhere (for example, under consumer-protection law).
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the “Effective date” above reflects the last substantive update. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
