Rules for using this website, registering for events, and handling data you can see through it.
Effective date: 9 September 2026

1. Purpose
This policy sets out what is and isn’t acceptable use of this website, its event-registration system, and its data. It applies to everyone who uses the site, including applicants, parents/guardians registering on an athlete’s behalf, and RDAA staff.
2. Prohibited activity
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information on the /apply form, including a false date of birth to gain an age-group advantage.
- Impersonating another person, or registering an athlete without the authority of that athlete or (for a minor) their parent/guardian.
- Harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse directed at RDAA staff, volunteers, officials, or other athletes.
- Attempting to access another applicant’s application data, reference number, or payment-proof image without authorization.
- Attempting unauthorized access to the admin panel or our underlying database/storage systems.
- Automated scraping, bulk-harvesting, or bot submission of the /apply form, or any attempt to circumvent rate-limiting or bot-protection.
- Uploading unlawful, obscene, or infringing content (for example, as a payment-proof image).
- Interfering with, manipulating, or attempting to falsify event results, rankings, or the payment-verification process.
- Abusing the registration or duplicate-check system — for example, spamming duplicate or nonsense applications.
- Any activity that violates applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.
3. Misuse of player/member information
Any personal or contact information that becomes visible to you through this site (for example, if you are an RDAA admin) may only be used for legitimate RDAA event administration. Using it for any other purpose — including unsolicited marketing, harassment, or sharing it with anyone outside RDAA without authorization — is prohibited.
4. Consequences
Breach of this policy may result in a registration being refused, suspended, or cancelled, disqualification from an event, removal of admin access, and/or referral to the appropriate authorities where the conduct is unlawful.
5. Reporting misuse
If you believe someone has misused this website or RDAA data, contact registration@ratnagiriathletics.in or see our Privacy Rights & Grievance page.
